I love this app thank you!

Its helpful how it shows the stroke order of the characters and also how to incorporate them in other Japanese words. But it would be more helpful if it had the English definition and if it could pronounce it. There were a few hiragana characters when it did, but not all of them. Most of it was jus background music.

This app is awesome for memorizing Hiragana, but itd be cool to have a japanese/English translation tool to help better learn. (Although, I think this app is meant to be for young Asian children to learn to write, who already know some japanese. But oh well.) This app is great because it plays audio of the hiragana sound as you write it. The graphics are pretty bad, but other than that, this app is pretty good.

In my opinion, one of the most successful ways to learn Japanese hiragana. I was confused at first because there was no english translation, but honestly, may be better off without it; that way, we can get used to seeing the words and get the feeling of what they mean on our own. To play, just click on one of the three boxes shown on the homepage.

I used this along with flash cards and it was great for learning how to write hiragana. I also like that there arent translations, as it makes learning words more interesting "ah-ah-ahkachan" will forever be in my head

Help me a lot. But its seems like this app only have hiragana

This really helps me learn hiragana and the sounds each character represent. The games are fun, but sometimes there are glitches and I cant write out the hiragana or the audio isnt clear enough to distinguish the sounds. Great app! I hope to see it improve! ^_^

This game really helped me be able to read hiragana! Btw its great for car rides... If your not driving of course.

First i was very dizzy when i saw the Japanese letters. I cant understand it well. Maybe i know how it spells but i dont know how to write it. And this app has changed everything. Now i know how to write letters perfectly. Easy to understand and simple. Must download!

Out of so many apps I have tried, this is the one that sticks. I enjoy every bit of it. The immersion style really helps to improve my learning speed and the childish graphic might be confusing for some but I find it amusing instead. You might feel a bit overwhelming at first due to the all Japanese interface but its somewhat intuitive and youre just a few clicks away from awesomeness. Dont hesitate to download, you will never regret it.

They say the word over again and guide you through the strokes. there are games that help you memorize too with sounds but the App Store pops up every time I try to play a game and when I go back to the app I have to start over. Please fix

I installed this new update thinking it was a dictation test as my App Store described it but its not. The update added a stroke order memory test instead. Dont get me wrong the stroke order is memory test is great and just what I needed to keep my skills sharp but its not what I thought it was. Just saying. A dictation test that records your voice to test your pronunciation sounds like a great idea! Hope it comes up in the future. I love this app. Its helped me a lot too. Also the review where I said there was a bug where the app crashes is only occasional. It maybe a good idea if someone checked it out though. Thanks

This app is so cute. I was just fiddling around in the App Store looking for an app for hiragana practice (been months since Ive practiced japanese). This app had me smiling like a baby its so entertaining. Pretty much gives cute phonetic songs while teaching stroke order. Perfect for a refresher or for beginners. Interface is entirely in japanese but easy to understand with helpful pictures. I sent this app to my cousin. Try it, its free. (⌒▽⌒)

This app has a very good set if activities that encourage learning. Im very pleased with the recent updates and bug fixes.

Im learning Japanese from a friend and this has helped me SO MUCH! I absolutely love it. Also, its very cute, or as the Japanese say, かわいい！

Its a good app but I wish I knew what I was writing. It just teaches you how to write. The problem is I dont know WHAT Im writing. If the app could tell me what Im writing that would help

I highly recommend this to anyone who is serious about learning the kana. I love that it incorporates sight, touch and audio into the learning. I just wish that there were translations for the Japanese words on the side of the screen.
